George Edward Hindley
Three notices from September 1918 relating to the death in northern France of my 2x great uncle George Edward Hindley (died 28 August 1918). Wondering if Rhona should read Rhoda, but not sure who Will is as George’s sister Rhoda married a Duncan Forbes. If anyone knows message me.
Richard Henry Hindley
George’s father was Richard Henry Hindley, my 2x great grandfather. His death was marked with several notices by his children. For some unknown reason the funeral was open to men only.
