Christian Brerewood 1659 - 1734

Christian Brerewood (sometimes referred to as Christiana) was born in Chester in 1659 to John Brerewood (1616 – 1700) and Sidney Gamul (1634 – 1665). She was christened at St Marys on the Hill Church (now the St Mary Centre) in the centre of Chester on 14 October 1659.
She married Thomas Kelsall (1662 - ) of Plemstall (Plemondstall), near Mickle Trafford, Chester in 1683. There were two ceremonies, one at Plemstall Church on 29 June, and another at St Oswald’s Church (attached to Chester Cathedral) on 3 July.
Thomas and Christian had at least three children:
§ Lettice Kelsall (1684 - ), who married Thomas Kendrick in 1709
§ Richard Kelsall (1685 – 1749), Alderman of Liverpool, who married firstly Elizabeth Johnson (1689 – 1717) then Sarah King (born Bankes) of Runcorn.
§ Christian Kelsall (1690 - )
Christian died in 1734.
